If there is a country of people known for being quite serious and independent, Germany often comes to mind. And this country, known for perfecting automobile engineering, beer and taking everything they do very seriously (even having fun), seems practically filled with Capricorns.
In the German state of Bavaria, the Purity Law of 1516 required that beer can only be made with barley, hops and water. It still exists to this day, although yeast has been added. You can sample the best of German beers at the world’s largest beer festival in Munich (Oktoberfest).
While visiting Munich, you can also swing by BMW’s headquarters and museum, found in a four-cylinder skyscraper, to see how Germany is a leader in building cars.
