Getting to Islamorada

The best way to get to Islamorada (or most of the Keys, for that matter) is to fly into Miami. You can also book a flight to Key West, but it will usually be more expensive and need a layover in Miami anyways.
Once you've landed, you'll want to rent a car and start the pleasant road trip down the Keys. The mainland is connected to the islands by a series of long bridges that go right over the water, so you'll get to enjoy views of the water almost the entire way.
Of course, if you've been blessed in this life, you can always take a boat down.
