Walt Disney World Resort spans 40 square miles — about the same size as the city of Boston. Not only is it home to seven theme parks, 90 full-service restaurants and 2,000 animals, but it also offers 34 different hotels in which to stay.
Sure, there are several other hotels to select from in the Greater Orlando, Florida, area, but staying at Disney comes with privileges. You’re promised Disney Magic at every turn, while also receiving extra hours in the theme parks, special transportation and FastPass+ bonuses.
But how do you choose when there are nearly three dozen great properties? We turned to Tripadvisor’s hotel reviews. We then ordered by hotel class (value, moderate, deluxe and villas) and the number of reviews to create this list.
With all of this in mind, here are Disney World’s 34 hotels, ranked from worst to first.
What People Say About Disneyland Hotel
“I’m not sure what can justify >$600/night for a simple room that’s not on a coast someplace tropical — but it’s Disney, so you have to do it! Especially if it’s your first time at Disneyland like it was ours…
We had two queen beds in the Fantasy tower on the 11th floor for two nights, and our room view — at first sight — was disappointing because of the parking lot below. Little did we know, come 9 o’clock the nightly fireworks were on prime display outside of our room window! Simply magical! The headboards light up, and the lamp plays music, adding to the magic!
The beds are super comfortable, and the detail in the decor at this place is everything. We loved being able to take a midday break from the park and hang by the pool. The restaurant, Trader Sam’s, is delicious, as are the drinks! The hotel staff were all pleasant, helpful and always smiling. We really really enjoyed our stay!!” — @Deee1985
