Chick-fil-A was founded in 1946, and the chain is now the largest chicken sandwich–focused fast-food restaurant in the United States. Headquartered in College Park, Georgia, the company operates over 2,800 restaurants in almost all 50 states across the U.S., making it a go-to spot for chicken-loving travelers.
But not everyone loves the chain, and Chick-fil-A has been shrouded in controversy for donating to anti-LGBTQIA+ rights groups. In 2019, after years of boycotts and protests, Chick-fil-A announced that such donations would cease.
While some people still refuse to dine at the restaurant, many others (politics aside) simply can’t help craving the restaurant’s famous chicken sandwiches. For travelers who always stop at Chick-fil-A on road trips (or just on an average Tuesday), these are the most popular Chick-fil-A menu items.
