11 Airbnbs in Myrtle Beach With Amazing Ocean Views
With long coastlines in both the Atlantic and the Pacific, the United States has more beaches than anyone can count. But few compare to the beautiful Myrtle Beach.
South Carolina's most famous oceanfront town is famous for having a stretch of beaches that's 60-miles long. Besides the Grand Strand, the town boasts a lively boardwalk, golf courses and one of the tallest Ferris wheels in the entire nation.
If you're planning a beach vacation to this perfect summer destination, it's not enough to have accommodations near the water. For a truly grand time, you should book a place from where you can see the sea.
These are the 11 most amazing Airbnbs in Myrtle Beach with gorgeous ocean views.
Why This Penthouse Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
Everyone wants ocean views during a beach vacation, but few apartments make that possible. In this penthouse condo, you won't have that issue, since both bedrooms have beautiful private views of the sea.
And you won't have to stay in bed to enjoy the scenery, as the living room and the balcony also offer front-row seats to the water. Though the decoration is pretty run-of-the-mill, this apartment has views upon views upon views, and that's worth more than design in our opinion.
Sand Dunes resort also has an outdoor and indoor pool, hot tubs, onsite restaurants and an arcade.
Why This Oceanfront Condo Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
Enjoy views of the ocean without even getting out of bed. This tastefully decorated condo has floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead to a large balcony overlooking the sea.
It's also located right on the boardwalk and close to Myrtle Beach's famous Skywheel. If you come with children, they'll love the lazy river pool and the nearby water park. Plus, you can access the beach right from the lobby.
Why This Affordable Oceanfront Condo Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
You don't have to be rich to enjoy a condo by the sea with enviable views. For less than $100, you can have a balcony that sits right in front of the beach. You won't even have to deal with views of other resorts; it's just a wooden boardwalk, sand dunes and the beach.
And to make the deal even sweeter, the space can squeeze in up to six people, as it has a large bed, two bunk beds and a sofa bed. Bring the family with you, and enjoy the beach life.
Why This Family-Friendly Condo Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
Finding accommodations when you're traveling with a big group can be a huge pain — especially if you're looking for waterfront property. This is why we love the ingenuity of this three-bedroom condo, which uses bunk beds in one of the bedrooms.
A perfect place for a big or extended family, you'll get nice views from the balcony. Take the kids to the arcade or one of the pools, and plan to dine in the on-property restaurants that save parents a lot of logistical headaches.
Why This Caribbean Resort Apartment Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
Though smaller than other Airbnbs featured here, this apartment in Caribbean Resort wins us over with its five — yes, five — pools! When you don't want to be in the sea, you'll have your pick of where to continue having fun in the water. Pools include a lazy river and a large outdoor pool with a large waterslide! There is also an indoor pool in case the rain ruins your beach plans.
The resort also has a tiki bar where you can get snacks or drinks. And the beach view from the balcony is gorgeous.
Why This Double-Balcony Condo Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
If what you want is views, then views are what this apartment gives you. The double balcony means double the scenery and double the natural light that floods into the living area.
The apartment is decorated in a blue and yellow theme that follows the general look of the building. When you manage to tear yourself away from the scenery on the balcony, you'll have the beach at your front door. Multiple indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs are available for guests.
Why This Patricia Grand Condo Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
We've already expressed our love for double views, which is what makes this condo a winner in our hearts. Right from the bedroom, you get a view of the sea both from the balcony and from the window. That's definitely a feature that is hard to beat!
Located in the Patricia Grand building, the condo comes with all the amenities of a beach resort: multiple pools, hot tubs, kiddie pools and even a convenience store!
Why This Carolinian Beach Resort Condo Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
Knowing that everyone wants great ocean views, this condo decided to overdeliver. Rather than settle for a simple balcony, it has almost two entire walls with floor-to-ceiling windows — that equals a whole lotta views.
Besides the breathtaking setup, the apartment is thoughtfully decorated without being over-the-top. It is located within the Carolinian Beach Resort, which enjoys an amazing Myrtle Beach location close to all the entertainment you could want.
And at the risk of revealing our dorkiness: the apartment comes with in-unit laundry. That alone makes us want to give it all our money.
Why This Penthouse With a Jacuzzi Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
Do we even need to say anything besides "penthouse" and "Jacuzzi"? This one-bedroom apartment has a long balcony that comes with a hanging egg chair and killer ocean views. You'll get to gaze at the sea from both the room and the living area, which makes for incredibly relaxing (and romantic) mornings.
But what sets this place apart is that the bathroom has a private Jacuzzi, which you can soak in at the end of the day.
Why This Pet-Friendly Condo Is a Great Myrtle Beach Airbnb
Another condo located in the Patricia Grand, this apartment manages to rank higher than its counterparts because of a number of things.
First, it's located on the 16th floor, which means truly unbeatable views. As is a signature style of the building, it also offers a beach panorama right from the bedroom. But this condo really takes design into account, with little touches that make it social-media perfect. Just look at the breakfast nook, which creates a perfect spot for a cup of coffee with its industrial lamp and wooden-boat decor.
But the best thing it offers is that you can bring your pets with you without paying any fees!
Why This Luxury Oceanfront Home Is the Best Myrtle Beach Airbnb
We almost feel bad including this property on here because there is simply no other place that comes close to even competing with it for the top spot.
While condos are nice, there is nothing like having an actual house that is in front of the beach — especially when that house also boasts its very own private pool, three balconies and a Jacuzzi. Each of the seven bedrooms has its own bathroom because only peasants share toilets. And, yes, this absolutely gorgeous Airbnb is definitely only for large groups who can afford to shell out almost $2,500 per night — though if you get the full 16 people, that's really only a little over $155 per person.
Some of the wallpaper and drapery choices are a miss, but everything else is so grand and beautiful, we'll add this to our Airbnb wishlist in case we ever become rich.
